All new members are required to complete a short individual voice test with the conductor, further details are available from the secretary. The basic requirement is to read music and to sing in tune.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7.45 pm in the Village Hall, Froxfield, near Petersfield in Hampshire. Rehearsals last two hours with a short break for refreshments. The choir rehearses from mid September to early June, with occasional weeks off. Members are entitled to attend all normal rehearsals but there is a minimum attendance requirement for performing in a concert.
Rehearsals began for the next concert on Thursday, 21st January at 7.45 pm.
Membership for the year costs £100.
Some of our activities involve participation in church services. You do not need to be a confirmed member of any church to take part in these events, but you should be willing to participate in Christian services.
